– The Grand Canyon West:
The Grand Canyon Skywalk is located at Grand Canyon West on the Hualapai Tribal lands. Temperatures in the summer are warmer than at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. However, for those with less time or inclination to go all the way to the South Rim, Grand Canyon West is your closest Grand Canyon vacation experience to the Las Vegas area.

– Canyon East:
Horseshoe Bend, located just 7 miles up river from the actual beginning of Grand Canyon National Park, so is fast becoming a MUST VISIT location. The intimate canyon feeling you gain while having your picture taken in front of the Colorado River can’t be beat! An under appreciated attraction on the East end of the Grand Canyon is the Little Colorado River Tribal Park on the Navajo Nation. However, the view down into the Little Colorado River from the main parking lot is one you will never forget.

– The North Rim:
The Grand Canyon North Rim is very close to the Utah Border. It is requires more effort to visit the North Rim than it does to visit the South Rim. It is more remote and less visitor will make it to the North side. Further from any freeways, it’s ONLY open seasonally from May 15th through October 15th each year, there is not an Airport nearby-Page, Arizona and St. George, Utah being the closest, and it is just over 200 miles from the South Rim-requiring a 4 hour drive.
